The Chill Zone is a Family Orientated Entertainment Leisure and Learning Centre in the heart of Consett overlooking the bus station. There are indoor facilities to cater for the whole community and families can relax knowing that there is something for everyone, from toddlers to teenagers to parents and grandparents. From the Quality Coffee House view you will find the Internet Zone, Pool Tables, PS2, XBOX 360 and Nintendo Wii Zones, Trading Zone, Book Exchange, Family Arcade Machines, Quiz Machines, Dedicated Tanning Room with the very latest Power Tower. Cafe customers can use the Wi-Fi Hotspot for free and drop-in courses can be organised on request. Book Parties, Tournaments and play in Leagues @ The Chill Zone. This website aims to help promote skills development and career progression in the voluntary and community sector (VCS) of the North East of England by offering free information and advice on training opportunities available throughout the region.

The site currently contains a searchable Training Database of 1167 training courses and 167 training providers from across the North East, as well as News and Events, Case Studies, Job Profiles, Vacancies and Resources relevant to skills and training.

voluntaryskills.com is the biggest and most comprehensive website dedicated to VCS skills and training in the North East. With 6917 unique visits in June 2007 and over 75000 visits since its launch as a regional resource in August 2004, voluntaryskills.com is one of the most cost effective ways of promoting training courses in the North East.
